how to make organic fertilizer ( Bokashi)
AGRICULTURE - Organic fertilizer is fertilizer composed of living matter , such as weathering of the remains of plants ,animals , and humans . Organic fertilizers can be solid or liquid that is used to improve the physical, chemical , and biological soil. Organic fertilizers contain more organic material than haranya levels . A source of organic matter can be compost , green manure , manure , crop residues ( straw , stover , corn cobs , sugarcane bagasse and coconut fiber ) , livestock waste , industrial waste using agricultural materials , and municipal waste ( garbage ) .
Materials used

  1. Manure : 300 Kg
  2. bran : 50 Kg
  3. Husk : 150 kg
  4. Solution of sugar / molasses : 200 ml / 20 hr
  5. EM4 / Mol : 500 ml / 50 hr
  6. Enough water.

Ways of making:

  1. Dissolve EM4 and sugar into the water .
  2. manure , chaff and bran were mixed evenly .
  3. Pour EM4 is slowly added to the dough evenly to peak at 30 % moisture content . if the dough with hands clenched water does not drip and when the fist is removed then the dough is easily broken .
  4. The dough is piled above the tile is dry, with a minimum height of 15-20 cm . then covered with a plastic bag for 4-7 days .
  5. Keep the temperature of the dough mounds maximum of 50 degrees Celsius , lower the temperature by turning inverted and then close again with a burlap sack . high temperatures can result Bokashi be damaged by the process of decay . the temperature should be checked every 5 hours.
  6. After 4-7 days bokasi has finished fermented and ready for use as an organic fertilizer .


Bokashi making techniques from other organic materials such as straw , reeds and foliage litter together with manure composting techniques , only the manure material is replaced with organic materials that we use .
